The Halloween Costume Reveal 2010 (and a little surprise)

Chicka-Bow-WOW! Lucky Number Seven! And in case you're wondering, the answer is YES. Yes, I do feel as awful as I am pretending not to look. Worst. Pregnancy. Ever.

Luckily I had been planning the costumes around this much-anticipated pregnancy, so Eric and I planned them almost a year ago so that I could get them done even if I was completely overwhelmed by Hurricane Preggo. We're looking forward to meeting our new player the beginning of May 2011!

Since I was in my usual reclining-like-some-Greek-Goddess pose on the couch on Friday night, it was a perfect place to spend forty-five minutes putting a plethora of curlers (no, not piƱatas, El Guapo!) in Ethan's thick locks. He has been wanting a "real afro" since we told the kids about the costumes a few weeks ago and even refused to let me shear his mane. He wore the curlers all night and then all throughout the day on Saturday. He was so proud of the result I could practically hear his giddiness in the air around his fro. Total, afro-puff, man!

I LOVE it!!!!! I have been waiting on pins and needles to find out what this years costumes were. So sad to not be trunk-or-treating with you. Good job getting these costumes done. We can't wait to line team Gilbert up with team D'EVEGNEE sometime soon! We're hoping for 5 boys and 2 girls so our odds of our 5 girls and two boys match up perfectly. Go team!!!!

Congratulations! You are THE woman! One of these days on our way down to Utah on the I-15, we'll have to stop in and say hi. :-)

Yahoo!!!!! I am so excited for you and your little family. I saw Ethan at school on Friday, he was so excited about his plans for a "real afro"-- I heard all about it. He is such a cute boy! When Ethan came over about a month ago, he was checking out our new baby, and asked "Why does he make that squeaky noise when he breathes? Its so... (I was fully expecting a typical 10 year old boy comment, but he surprised me when he gushingly finished with)... CUTE!!!!" I'll bet he is so excited about #7!

Wow! Congrats! Oh, how I miss you :-( That was the worst part of coming home, remembering how great the people there were. I could use a little bunco in my life with some great people.
